Serena was dumped in Indianapolis' Eagle Creek Park. Fortunately our volunteers heard about her and were able to capture her! Serena went to animal control as a stray, and eventually we were able to bring this girl into a space in the rescue's foster care. She's still growing up and is a little shy, but she is curious and wants to know more about the good things her foster family brings. Every day she comes out of her shell more and more! She is available for adoption and looking for her forever family!

Serena says: "I'd like to introduce myself! My name is Serena and I was dumped at Eagle Creek Park. I didn't like it there but I made it to IHRS and now I'm at my foster family's house and it's pretty great. I'm pretty shy but will gladly eat a treat out of Mom's hand. Dad still scares me sometimes because he's loud and tall. I might do well in a "serene" home without too many startling noises. I'm next to this weird guy and his litter box habits are terrible! Mine have totally improved and I keep showing him how awesome my litter box is... and he just sinks down into a puddle and takes a nap. How can he be so carefree? He and I are both white bunnies with ruby eyes which means we might have a harder time getting adopted. Mom says not to worry because she thinks I'm beautiful! I'm working on trusting humans. I've been on a date with a cute boy but I was pretty nervous so it didn't work out. I'm working on that!"
