**Pending Adoption**

An Indianapolis resident contacted us about a rabbit who had been seen running in a westside neighborhood. Turns out Jelly had been on his own for at least three months! Neighbors had been feeding him but no one knew where he came from.

IHRS volunteers stopped by and had Jelly caught in about five minutes! He had become rather friendly with people since he associated them with food. Jelly was eating a jelly sandwich that had been thrown in the street. We used parts of it to tempt him to us, but now that Jelly is in foster care, no more jelly sandwiches!!

Jelly had pretty bad ear mites, which are uncomfortable to painful, as well as contagious. Fortunately they are easily treated. Jelly is all healed from those and now healing from neuter. Once that's behind him and he gains a little weight, he'll be ready for adoption!

Jelly was a bit worried at first indoors, but now he's lounging and loves his toys and warm home and plenty of food. He can't wait to show off for a forever family!
