Sookie was born in another rescue and later transferred to IHRS. When she first arrived, she was very cautious and scared. Not long later, she was energetic and curious, and pretty sassy! We noticed Sookie started not feeling well, and unfortunately she's been diagnosed with heart failure. She takes lots of medications multiple times a day to keep her comfortable and happy in her foster home! She's still sassy and curious, but her energy level has declined as her condition progresses, but she's a fighter and is making the best of her situation. Sookie is very loved and will be cared for as long as needed in the rescue. Donations to offset her many radiographs, echocardiograms, and ultrasounds, as well as the medication she will take for the rest of her life, are very much welcomed!
