Meet Keena — A Resilient and Affectionate Survivor

Keena’s story is one of survival, love, and second chances. This sweet, older rabbit was cruelly abandoned outdoors in the blazing summer heat, left to fend for herself with severely matted fur. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan rescued her just in time — veterinary staff discovered maggots hidden in her mats, a heartbreaking early stage that could have progressed to fatal fly strike if not caught.

During her spay, Keena was diagnosed with early-stage uterine cancer, but thankfully it had not spread beyond the uterine wall. Chest imaging confirmed there was no metastasis to the lungs, and she has made a full recovery. She's now ready to find her forever home where she can be truly cherished.

Personality & Care
-Keena is an incredibly loving rabbit. She adores nose and ear rubs, leans into gentle snuggles, and happily grooms you in return when you scratch her lower back — her way of saying “thank you.”
-Her fur is luxuriously soft, and she has an absolutely adorable heart-shaped nose.
-She does very well with grooming and enjoys quiet companionship.
-She has a fluffy bottom and requires a minor trim once per month.
-Carrots are her favorite treat, and she’ll happily munch them while sitting beside you.

Keena has survived unimaginable neglect and come through with her gentle, trusting spirit intact. She deserves a calm, stable indoor home where she will never be abandoned again — a place where she will be valued, protected, and loved.

Could that home be yours?
