Hello, my name is Jane, and I'm a beautiful one-year old bunny with large, soft patches of light grey and white fur. I was born at a shelter after my mom, an abandoned rabbit, was rescued. A few days later, my entire family was taken in by the IHRS. Most of my siblings have already found their forever homes, and I'm waiting patiently for mine. I used to be very shy, but with patience and gentle kindness, I've learned that humans can be my friends. The most important thing to know about me is that my trust is something you have to earn, but once you do, it's worth it.

When I'm in my home, I'm a tidy girl and very good with my litterbox. But my real happy place is with blankets and fabric. I just love to play in them, chew on them, and find the perfect spot to hide. Nothing makes me feel safer than burrowing under an old cotton t-shirt or a soft bedsheet. Sometimes, my foster mom even builds me a special fort out of blankets, and I'll lay down inside, peeking out to watch the humans go by.

You'll know I'm ready to play when the sun comes up. I'll be waiting right by my cage opening, excited for my morning free-roam time. My excitement usually comes out in happy "binkies"—my little way of jumping and twisting in the air to show how happy I am. My favorite treats in the world are fresh kale, crisp romaine, and a big pile of farm-fresh hay.

I'm looking for a quiet, patient home where I can continue to learn and grow. If you're ready to earn the trust of a very special bunny, I would love to meet you.
