Curious, inquisitive, or maybe just plain nosey… however you want to describe him, Maurice wants to know what’s going on! If he finds a way to get out, he’ll take the opportunity to go on a little adventure. Maybe he’s just making a quick trip to the kitchen to check that you’re preparing his salad correctly!

Maurice loves his food and treats, and he definitely isn’t shy about making sure he gets them. He was originally found outside, visiting the same neighbor every night. They had been feeding him and were even able to pet him, so he was already familiar with people.

When he made his way into rescue, he had acquired the name Marie. A quick trip to the vet revealed that Marie was actually a boy! We decided to give him a new name, and Maurice was born.
